But what makes the Pumper system smart? Why should you choose Pumper?
It's the attention to detail we have paid in the development of the Pumper system. Here are several examples:
- Assume that the motor control unit sent you two messages: first, when the motor was turned OFF, and second, when it was turned ON. But, due to network conditions, the message for motor turn ON reaches your phone first, and then the message for motor turn OFF. So you get informed that the motor is OFF when it is actually ON.
What we did: We introduced a new innovative method called SMS stamping. It makes sure your phone only shows you the latest message from the remote control unit, irrespective of the order in which your phone receive SMS messages.
- There are some motor remote controlling apps that simply send SMSes to the motor control unit, and the reply from the control unit come just to your SMS inbox. You will have to open your inbox to see the message.
How we do it: Pumper App makes use of audible tones and animated notifications to show you what the remote control unit has to tell you. One example is the rotating icon you will see on your notification bar, when your pump set is running. You can know your pumpset's running state without even opening the app!!!
- Control Unit prepaid balance intimation is a feature we have not seen in any similar products till date. Some might ask - "why is that required? The purpose of your app is motor controlling only.. right?"
Wrong!! It's a matter of user experience. If the user can know this information up to date, he can do the next SMS free pack, as and when required, saving money that way.

- Run the 'Add Pumper Device' wizard in Pumper App.
